Firebricks

Southtile Ltd is New Zealand’s only manufacturer of an extruded firebrick which are produced in a variety of sizes from the standard 230x115x75mm to splits in 50mm, 37mm and 30mm range

The firebricks, available in either pressed or standard format, are a general purpose medium duty product which is used in a variety of applications. These include wood and coal fired burners, open fireplaces, barbeques and pizza ovens.

Southtile also manufactures an extensive range of firebricks for the after sale market and has product available to fit most makes and models on the NZ market.

Firecement

Southtile produces a general purpose medium duty firecement  ( known as ST13) to compliment its firebrick range and these are sold in either 3kg, 8kg and 20kg containers. The product is premixed and should be used sparingly with up to 1mm joints. The bricks must be laid dry and heated up slowly.

Castables

The company manufactures a range of castable products which are used in a number applications including wood and coal fired burners, barbeques, pizza ovens and the after sale market.
It also supplies a low grade castable in 30 kg bags for other clients.

Fireclay

Southtile Ltd sells fireclay in 40 kg bags which are used by the trade as an additive instead of mortar. It is also used in some other specialized applications.
