Southtile Ltd is the exclusive distributor of Premier Insulation in the South Island and is also an agent for Autex Green Stuf® . It has been appointed by EECA as a contractor to install their approved insulation products under the Warm Up New Zealand : Heat Smart energywise™ programme.
EECA funding is available to all home owners under a new insulation and heating programme which came into effect from the 1st of July 2009. This provides for a grant of up to a 33% (capped at $1300) towards the costs of installing ceiling and underfloor insulation in homes built prior to 2000. In addition there is a further subsidy of $500 towards a clean heating device if the house has been insulated to EECA standards. House owners with a Community Services Card can get 60% off the cost of insulation, and a further grant of $1200 towards the cost of an EECA approved space heating appliance.
