Cmax Refractory Castable 1650
CMAX 1650 Refractory Castable
High-Temperature Refractory Castable Cement
CMAX 1650 is a high-temperature refractory castable designed for forming heat-resistant shapes, components and linings.
This castable material is mixed with water and placed into suitable moulds or formwork, allowing custom refractory shapes and replacement components to be produced.
CMAX 1650 is intended for demanding high-temperature environments where the correct grade of refractory material is required.
Features & Benefits
Refractory castable for high-temperature applications.
Suitable for producing custom-moulded refractory shapes.
Can be used for refractory lining and repair work where specified.
Mixed with water and cast into suitable moulds or formwork.
Useful for specialist refractory and heat-related projects.
Mixing & Installation
Add all componets together the cement may be in a seperate bag within the bag, follow best practice mixing castable and water quantities, allow 24 hours to 48 hours curing before starting a slow initial heat-up.
Refractory castables must be properly cured and dried before exposure to operating temperatures. Heating damp castable too quickly can cause cracking or dangerous steam pressure.
Wear suitable gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection when handling dry refractory materials.
